Being Available for calls, Webchat, Audio Greetings, and featured Profile Photos

 

  1. Make sure you are only marking your account as “Available” for phone calls if you are in fact available to answer the phone.  We want to make sure our customers have the best possible experience on our site so they continue to come back, so it is imperative that they are reaching their selected talkers on their first attempt.   If you are marked as available and a customer attempts to call and you do not answer, our system will log you off.  If you are consistently abusing this, we will suspend your talker account.
  2. Make sure you are using the webchat option if you are at your computer.  If you are available to take webchat, you have to set this availability separately from your phone call availability.  Although you can be available for phone calls and not physically be on the site at your computer, for webchat you must be at the screen.  There is a 30 second window to begin responding to a webchat request.
  3. We have added your audio greetings to the main profile listing pages of TalkToMe.com.  If you do not yet have an audio greeting, you should create one as soon as possible.  Customers go through the site and listen to these greetings to determine which talker to call.  Don’t miss out on a potential customer because you are missing this feature!
  4. The most successful profiles have the 6 featured profile images selected.  You can crop your photos while selecting which ones to feature, and the callers LOVE to look at these.
